Bob has over 35 years of actuarial and insurance industry experience. He advises the Edgewater Leadership Team on high-level decisions that shape the organization's long-term direction, growth, and performance. Bob is an innovative actuarial executive recognized as a flexible, creative leader with a track record of finding new ways to apply actuarial science to complex problems. A strong communicator with expertise in strategic and financial analytics, reinsurance, pricing, reserving, robotics, cognitive computing, data visualization, management reporting, and data management.
James Marshall
PhD, FCAS - President
James has been in the insurance industry since 2004 with experience in traditional actuarial analysis, including pricing and reserving in the UK and USA. He has extensive experience in actuarial teams working across multiple lines of business. More recently, James led digital finance transformation for a large insurer, driving automation and process improvement initiatives across the Finance function using a range of approaches including data analytics software, machine learning techniques and robotics.
Nathan Bluhm
FCAS, MAAA – Chief Actuary
Nathan has been working in the property/casualty industry since 1999. He has extensive experience in loss reserving and pricing with a focus on the workers compensation, general liability and automobile lines of business, including eight years as a captive pricing actuary for a large insurer. Nathan has also proven to be a strong people manager, driving successful performance and career development within a team environment.
